Employee engagement

We're proud to be ranked in the prestigious Sunday Times Top 100 Best Employer list for the not-for-profit sector. Axiom was first successfully listed in 2013 and then again in 2015 and 2017.

Equality and diversity

We have been recognised for our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) through our achievement of the Investors in Diversity Stage 2 award.  Axiom also made the top 10 of housing associations who made the National Centre for Diversity's Top 100 index for 2017 and features at number 35 overall.

Quality awards for homelessness and care services

We are proud to have achieved top marks for the quality of our support services in Lincolnshire. In 2013, the Supporting People Quality Assessment Framework awarded Axiom five As for the level of support provided at our homeless hostel Bala House in Grantham and at our sheltered housing schemes, Moorside Court, North Hykeham, and Phoenix Court, Gainsborough.

Axiom’s The Pavilions, extra care scheme in Alma Road, Peterborough, received a national award in October 2013, for being one of the best retirement housing schemes in the UK. The Silver award came from the Elderly Accommodation Council (EAC) a national charity that aims to help older people make informed choices about meeting their housing and care needs.

Our foyer in Gainsborough for young people won the West Lindsay District Council Award in 2016 for best commercial building.

Tenant annual reports

We are a firm believer of working in partnership with our residents and in particular with those who give so much of their time and commitment through Axiom residents' forum (ARF). Members are heavily involved in drafting our tenants’ annual report and this has won Axiom national recognition three years running. In 2011, we won the Tenant Participation Advisory Service’s (TPAS) central region award and received a highly commended at the national ceremony.

Then in 2012, we won the regional and national award for Excellence in Annual Reports. Most recently at the TPAS awards in 2013, Axiom was highly commended regionally and nationally for our tenants’ annual report.
