Our Income Management Advisor is available to offer advice to all our residents, shared owners and leaseholders.
This role is here to help you ensure that you are receiving all the benefits you may be entitled to. This includes assisting with the claiming process, liaising with the many benefit departments on your behalf and helping to challenge seemingly unfair decisions regarding entitlement.
But it is not just about money. We can help with signposting to agencies that offer assistance with debt such as social services, local authorities and specialist agencies.
We would urge everybody to have a ‘benefit check’. It ensures entitlements are being paid, especially if there has been a change in your circumstances. For example, a new baby, reaching retirement, moving in with someone or having someone move in with you. This is quick and simple to arrange and most checks can be completed over the telephone in the first instance.
