Being a good neighbour
We believe in creating strong communities and we all have a part to play in making this happen. It starts with being a good neighbour.
What does this entail?
Well it’s not just about thinking how your behaviour affects others for example by playing loud music and late night parties. Good neighbours are considerate, tolerant and understanding of others and their different lifestyles, and they look out for each other.
So, as well as getting to know your neighbours, please keep an eye on those who may be frail or vulnerable and not just during the winter months but all-year round.
Things to consider:
- Have you seen them lately?
- How did they look?
- Has there been a change in their behaviour?
See our safeguarding page for more information on how we protect older and vulnerable people.
If you have any concerns over the wellbeing of a neighbour, or you have been affected by their behaviour please contact us by email or call us on 01733 347135.
